Wist u dat Stichting Nativitas:
PREFACEUnder the support of the Nativitas Foundation, a number of Indonesian children in the Flores Island have been assisted through health care and educational services. Since its inception, their extraordinary efforts have persistently led to a successful support for Mrs. Marie Jeanne Colson in accomplishing her noble mission. Bearing in mind, that children are every nation's future, I would like to emphasize that the Nativitas Foundation has chosen an excellent mission. The noble work of Mrs. Marie Jeanne Colson has helped build the lives of the children particularly the disabled children and in the end help realize not only their valued dreams and futures but also their dignity and integrity. In a developing country like Indonesia with approximately 220 million inhabitants and 17.508 islands despite the best efforts by the government to solve a myriad of problems such as the social health and education, still in one way or another has to alleviate social problems particularly in the smaller islands. Therefore, it is my sincere wish that such remarkable achievement done by Mrs. Marie Jeanne Colson and the Nativitas Foundation would hopefully be followed by many others. I could not agree more, that Mrs. Marie Jeanne Colson is fully worthy to be called as Mother Therese from Flores. Taking into account of their valuable support to the children, I avail this momentous opportunity, on behalf of the people of Indonesia especially the inhabitants of the Flores Island, to express my earnest appreciation and wish every success of the Foundation's future endeavours. The Hague, 10 September 2003 Was getekend, Mohammed Yusuf.
